CognitoBit is a product studio in India. Most of what we build is commercial: our own products, and client work across several industries. We like open source just as much. When a problem comes up we would rather build a small tool for it than solve it once by hand, and when that thin piece of software works, we open-source it and share it.

A terminal network toolkit: speed test, LAN speed server, packet loss and MTR. One static binary for Windows, macOS and Linux, and a TUI when you run it bare.

Streams Cesium terrain, satellite imagery and 3D Tiles, including Google Photorealistic, into the Blender viewport with camera-driven level of detail. Like CesiumJS, but pure Python inside Blender.

An Indian-first expense-splitting app for groups and friends. Shared expenses, running balances and settlements for trips, flatmates and teams, without the spreadsheet.
How we build
We build software that does not depend on other software to work. It runs on its own, and it is easy to get for the people who use it and the developers who build on it. Wherever we can, we ship it as one binary. More than eighteen years of combined experience in fintech, medtech, edtech, gaming, aerospace and defence taught us what people actually need. And we keep one bit missing: there is always something left to learn.
